Background
Julia Watterson discovered her talent and passion when she painted some artwork for her own home. To build her skills she has received education at the Gage Academy of Art from a master artist in the US Pacific Northwest, at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and in Provence, France.
Julia's range includes creating landscapes, still life, and abstract paintings.
"My artwork connects me to my love of nature by painting fresh and peaceful artworks. I feel that because art is all around us and that many people enjoy art in their homes to be viewed daily, then that art has the potential to lifts one's spirits or bring a sense of space and calm. I enjoy creating those kinds of pieces. "
